Scudit
Italian Language and Culture School for Foreigners
ABOUT US
Scudit is a school specialising in the teaching of Italian language and culture to foreign students.
The school was founded more than thirty years ago by Roberto Tartaglione, author of numerous books for learners of Italian and of online teaching materials used in many countries.
Since the beginning, Roberto Tartaglione has directed Scudit, overseeing the organisation of courses and, whenever possible, maintaining direct contact with students and personally following many aspects of their learning experience.

The cultural side of the school, just as important as the linguistic one, was shaped by Giulia Grassi, an art historian, archaeologist and teacher who for many years also led the cultural visits organised by Scudit in Rome and beyond.
Today Scudit's cultural and art-history activities are coordinated by teachers who were trained by Giulia Grassi and who continue to keep alive the connection between the Italian language and the history and culture of the people who speak it.
